Doctor Of Ministry Assessment
Doctor Of Ministry Assessment
Midwest Ministry Development provides assessments for incoming Doctor of Ministry students. These assessments are intended to serve a dual purpose: 1) the seminary gains a clearer sense of the ability of the student to perform doctoral level work; and 2) prospective students develop increased self-understanding of personal and professional strengths and areas of vulnerability, as well as their learning and leadership styles. This program also assists prospective students in thinking through their personal vision for ministry and how this vision will be enriched through the Doctor of Ministry program.
The assessment is scheduled for either one-day (students from non-partner denominations) or two-day (students from Midwest partner denominations). One-day consultations include approximately six hours of testing and individual time with a counselor. Two-day consultations include at least 10-12 hours of testing and time with a counselor. Neither program includes time with a psychologist.
